Jamie Morgan Is 32, father of one and principally works as a "Rhythm Event Facilitator" in southern UK and Europe.
The work, as Jamie approaches it, is essentially a study of and tool for creating community, encouraging expression, developing groupwork and offering empowerment to groups and people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities. It focuses on the unifying power of music as available to all, specifically through rhythm/percussion activities and drumming. He has trained extensivley with Arthur Hull (principal mentor for this work in the west) as well as several ethnicly specific master drummers and sees the rhythmical path as one of joy, creativity and celebration which along the way offers a healing antedote to the often stressful society we live in.
Taking inspiration from many indigenous sources around the world who ground their lives in communal and musical activity, Jamie brings a passion to his work that is more than just about playing music together, it's about creating moments and minutes and experiences of magic to enhance the lives we lead, in whatever setting.
