Marina Robb is founder and Managing Director of Circle of Life Rediscovery and Life Skills Education. She has been the recipient of funding both for her work with teenagers, camps, programmes in schools, woodland days & programmes, Youth Training Programmes and Youth Leadership Days. She has successfully secured funding for 3 years from Natural England and MIND.

Marina is a qualified teacher (PGCE), who has studied Environmental Education (MA), Environmental Management (Bsc) and Social Research (Msc) since 1990. Marina has a special interest in finding new and old ways of connecting people to nature.
Her resume includes: Director Life Skills Education - work in Primary and Secondary schools delivering self-esteem, anti-bullying and assertiveness programmes; World Wildlife Fund funded environmental education project. Sonora. Mexico; Transition Town Lewes Schools Education Coordinator – specialist in Eco-schools & has co-designed Eco-Pack for Sustainable Schools; Qualified Helen O’Grady Drama Teacher; Qualified Rediscovery International Youth Traineeship Programme and Wilderness Training - including bushcraft, woodland skills & wilderness first aid, Rediscovery Foundation, Canada; Conflict Resolution Training – LEAP ‘Playing with Fire’; 10 years Gestalt & Body therapy/ Parent Counseling/Children’s Hour training/under supervision; Trainings include: Boys Own (young men & self-esteem); Young Men and Anger; Young women and self-esteem; alternatives to violence; Life Coaching; Training for Trainers; Non-directive play therapy course; Certified Youth Participation Worker; Wildfood & Ancient plant use course - University of Sussex; Teenage Psychology: Young people not in education or employment; Certified Group Facilitation Training – Gestalt Centre, London.

Throughout this time, the thread of these combinations have focused her work on young people and more recently adults towards her commitment to finding ways to further our connection to ourselves and the world around us. Her approach brings together best practice from Environmental Education, Nature Connection work, Forest School, Eco-psychology, Indigenous wisdom and many years of working with young people of all ages and backgrounds. As a parent and workshop facilitator, she encourages young people to find their real voice, experience a sense of belonging and discover pathways to true adulthood.
