Chad Roberts is always looking for more reasons to spend time outdoors. After a weekend bushcraft course, Chad completed an NCFE qualification in bushcraft and outdoor leadership and woodcraft in 2005/06. With an established interest in youth work, this presented the opportunity to combine the two where possible.
Volunteering locally led to employment and over the past 11 years he has worked in youth clubs, residential centres, many outdoor settings and on numerous projects with young children, adolescents and adults, as well as taking part in various training and workshops.
Chad is an avid practitioner and teacher of tai chi and qigong, which he feels encourages a deeper connection with self and the world, and he's looking forward to future possibilities of working with people in nature and all the positive effects that can bring.
